The Humane Society of Granville County (HSGC) rescues cats and kittens from the Granville County Animal Shelter in Oxford, NC.  The HSGC has grown their kitty adoption program and has successfully placed over 1000 kitties!    We pulled our first cat from the Granville County Animal Shelter in October of 2014 and we continue to rescue as many kitties as space allows at our foster moms home.  Once they arrive in their foster home they are quarantined for 14 days and seen by our vet, Dr. Jeanne Simmons (Butner Veterinary Clinic).  We love and care for these sweet babies until they are placed in their forever home. The adoption fee ranges from $100 and includes FeLuk/FIV, initial vaccines, deworming, spay or neuter, and a microchip. You are required to fill out adoption contract and provide references.  We have many wonderful kitties just waiting to become part of your family.  To view our adoptable cats, please click the link below. We feature our adoptable cats on our Facebook page each day. Check it out!
